Sunroom Challenge:
Connect the main house and sunroom to a new pool with usable, covered outdoor living space for grilling, entertaining and keeping an eye on young swimmers in the pool.

Solution:
Center the design on a covered octagon patio with a standing-seam roof that links the grilling and outdoor food serving area. Have stairs lead down to a lower patio and connect to the basement family room and the pool. Then use brick, wrought iron and traditional trim elements to bring about a classic look .
